During his collegiate years, Symborski received additional instruction and masterclasses from: Wynton Marsalis (Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra), Jose Sibaja (Boston Brass/Ricky Martin Trumpet Player), Jeff Connor (Boston Brass), Tom Rolfs (Boston Symphony Orchestra), Bruce Briney (Western Illinois University), Alan Hood (University of Denver), and SFC John Altman (The U.S. Army Field Band in D.C.) After graduating from Syracuse University, Symborski spent a year gigging in and around New York and began teaching private lessons before accepting a full-time Active duty position as an Army Musician after winning the audition.

Symborski's recording credits include an album produced at FAME Studios of Muscle Shoals Sound, the television show "Coming Home", and the movie "Fort Bliss" which Premiered on September 11, 2014 at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, CA available on Netflix.
