My teaching experience will be through zoom meetings for 30 minutes or 45 minutes depending on the student. A side view of the piano is needed and materials can be shared through email or up close visuals on zoom itself.I also offer in person lessons at home both for piano and the flute. I have a Roland TD-O7 DMK electronic drum kit in part of my living room, which I use as my home studio.I have the drums plugged on a PA speaker, which I also connect to my DAW to get the sound on the computer as well.
I use my computer to play songs that we may play on the class and I share my screen and audio with the student in order for him to hear the song and the drums.

While in high school, I moved to Beijing as a teenager to focus on the entry exams for college. We studied advanced music theory and harmony, piano accompaniment, solfa, composition, Music History. As a student, I also had the opportunity to study under some very amazing but strict teachers and to get some experience teaching as student aid. My experience at this college gave me a very good practice ethic. The level of the teachers and students was so high that I always wanted to practice and improve. I think teaching students how to practice properly is an overlooked part of music education. I loved my experience as a teaching aid and some of the volunteer work I did teaching some disadvantaged and special needs children there, and it made me want to be a music teacher in the future.
